AVALANCHESWAP OBSERVATORY

FIELD NOTES / 01 — THE VOLCANIC FIELD

A landscape
of swap energy.

Three venues. Three summits. A slow observation of canonical Avalanche Gateway swaps—not a simulation of the market.

HOW TO READ IT

A field instrument,
not a price chart.

Mountains hold the current feed window. Recent real swaps replay once on arrival, clearly marked as replay. Newly observed swaps then erupt. More swaps in a ten-second bin means more energy.

○Colored particle → one real swap. Its size follows the observed ten-second swap count, not estimated dollars.
◡Crater glow → recent swap activity. Observed swaps in the last minute fuel the glow. It fades when real activity ages out.
?Direction → explicit side only. Sells descend and buys rise. Unknown stays labelled unknown; its neutral upward observation motion is not a buy classification.
╱White streak → activity burst. A sampled bin with at least twelve real swaps can trigger streaks. This is not a whale claim. Reduced motion keeps every dot still.
SOURCE / canonical Avalanche Gateway → same-origin ../api/feed. Visible tabs poll every 15 seconds; hidden tabs pause. Errors retain the last-good observation. New batches spread over about 13.5 seconds and never replay after a hidden tab.
